WELCOME TO OUR SITE
In our years of business, 800 Asphalt Texas, LLC, dba Brazos Paving, has worked on numerous residential,
commercial, and public projects. During this period of time, we have performed nearly all of the work with
our own equipment and resources. Our staff is experienced in site preparation, seal coating, chip and seal,
striping, and laying asphalt.
We work on only one project at a time and make sure it is complete before moving on to the next job.
We look forward to an opportunity to speak directly with you, discuss your project, and work with you on your asphalt related paving needs!
CHIP AND SEAL
This process consists of applying a thin base of liquid asphalt onto the existing pavement or base material, followed by a layer of rock evenly spread over the liquid asphalt. The surface is rolled repeatedly to produce a smooth paved surface. Ideally, two coats of chip seal is applied to ensure a quality surface for your project.
Our paving crews are trained in the most recent procedures of producing quality surfaces. We can handle larger commercial jobs as well as smaller repair jobs on larger commercial projects.
A smooth, gleaming asphalt surface is a thing of beauty and, for many applications, offers a number of practical advantages: Lower upfront investment.
» Flexibility in that it resists cracks during
the extreme temperature swings of Texas
» Better resistance to damage from snow
and rock salt
» Simple to repair
» Faster setting time
» Good waterproofing properties.
» Better adherence to foundation on
The purpose of seal coating is to protect the asphalt from the results of the Texas sun and aging, as well as the harmful effects of chemical spills such as oil and gasoline. It seals the asphalt pavement from oxidation and erosion of the top layer.
On older pavements, seal coating replaces fine particles lost from the asphalt surface due to oxidation and seals the small cracks that can turn into large ones. It also helps prevent water from seeping down to the base of the material.
